Three monitor species have been recorded in the Park and can be argued to be the largest reptiles in the Park, thanks to their muscular builds.

These fast-moving reptiles enjoying basking in the sunshine on road edges and pathways, so please keep an eye out for them when travelling in the Park. Juveniles in particular are often the victims of inattentive road users.
