Whiteman Park is the only place in Western Australia where you can ride on a genuine heritage electric tram.

The Perth Electric Tramway Society provides a regular service over four kilometres of standard gauge track through picnic areas and farmland.

You get to experience the clickety-clack of travel by tram, just as it was in yesteryear.

Get your tickets from the tram conductor on board and receive your heritage-style tram ticket before alighting through the Park. Look for one of our many kangaroos or even our cattle on your journey.

Trams operate on a one-directional route commencing in the Village. See the Service Schedule page for tram stop locations and order of travel.

Whiteman Park Transport Heritage electric tram rides changing poles 135

Our top tip?

These heritage electric trams travel back and forth on the same line, so be sure to watch as your driver changes the pole at either end of the service!
