Make your visit to Whiteman Park a lot more fun for your four-legged family members!

Located in the Mussel Pool East precinct, our 2.5-hectare Dog Park allows dogs the freedom to run in a completely fenced off space.

With double gated entry/exit points, wide open space and lots of shade, your dog can enjoy the smells and socialisation of Whiteman Park off the lead!

Small dogs under 10kg are also catered for, with a smaller, separate enclosure just for them.

This doggie exercise facility is open from 8.30am to 6.00pm daily, and is free to use. Donations to help support the ongoing maintenance of the facility, as well as RSPCA WA, are welcomed via the donation points at each entrance.

It is important that you read the Rules for Use and Dog Park Etiquette before entering the facility. Download the Dog Park brochure to get acquainted before you visit.

KNOW YOUR DOG

Dog Parks are not suitable for all dogs, particularly for those that are aggressive or overly shy. Whiteman Park management recommends that all dogs undergo training and socialisation before using this facility so that they (and you) know how to behave appropriately.

Importantly, you should have full control of your dog, meaning that they will come when called.

Dog Waste
Biodegradable ‘Pooch Pouches’ are available free of charge at the Visitor Information Centre in the Village and also at the Dog Park entrances. Do the right thing: pick it up. Your fellow park users, and our waterways will thank you.
You are Responsible
Users of the Dog Park do so at their own risk. Dog handlers are liable for any injuries or damage caused by dogs in their control.
Dog Access
Dogs are the only domestic animals (i.e., pets) allowed in Whiteman Park, but they are only permitted when on a lead and under control at all times. Please ensure your dog is leashed before leaving the double gated entrances to the Dog Park.
